WHAT IS A CWAD / P-CWAD/ T-CWAD,etc.???

This is my new terminology for  "Children With Attachment Disorder"  - isn't it nice to have a condensed way to say this - again addressing the fact that the child is not the disorder - as in RAD kid, etc.  I like this better - I have always believed that the individual is not the disorder -  I remember when my children were young, I was always careful to say their behavior was wrong, but they were still okay - "that was a bad choice", not "you were bad".

This term can continue with the other terms -  "C-CWAD" is Caregiver of Children with attachment disorder" - "T-CWAD" is Teacher of children with attachment disorder.   - "P-CWAD" - Parent of ...... and, of course, M-CWAD - Mother of Children......   So feel free to use this terminology - it may help us all.
